Still suffering sinusey stuff... still agonising over whether or not to accept the knife.. hrmm

made a wikkid cool curry pie yestermaday courtesy of the recipe sharing goodness of Lucas.
Added some catness to it by thai-ifying it somewhat, and i've never even heard of black lentils... so went for the standard green/brown variety. Also substituted nutloaf for tvp as it's what i had in the cupboard.

but damn! that is fine pie :)

to nose job or not to nose job...

that is the question.

apparently my nose is bent, or twisted or something.

I've known this for quite some time, in the public health system, all things take a lot of time, and have had the offer of a nose job on the table for at least a year. Yesterday, it was offered again.

Apparently, as all the work will be done on the inside, my face wont be changed by the procedure, hmmm not sure about that.

I've spent the last 37 years coming to grips with my intrinsic self worth, learning to love myself as i am, not as something less than what i should be, and now someone wants to fuck with the recipe - again.

How would i feel if I looked in the mirror and saw somebody elses nose? Heard myself speak with somebody elses voice?

weird no doubt. I like me. I really do. I don't want to see somebody else, hear somebody else when it's me that should be in the mirror, singing in the shower etc. dancing in my underwear but that's another story...

Apparently, my palate needs to be changed, nose needs straightening, and then i will breathe better, have less sinus infections (yep i have heaps of those fiends), and sleep better...

anyone got any good advice?

anyone got any? i have a rust stain on my kidogi from drying it on an airer that some of the powder coating has come away from... damn the rain on wed / thursday ! (otherwise, i enjoyed it very much!)
lots of *cough* bleaching - i know, bad girlie, hasn't done the trick...

the main problem is, it isn't mine! and it of course needs to be pristine and white and pressed twice a week for training.. it's not a bad stain but i'd really appreciate any good tips. :-)

When i replied a few years ago, she responded - Get real, no one works here that long... point taken.
