Auditioning for the Thunderbirds...
Here's the bit where I remind myself not to take pictures indoors in low light with a mobile phone if I don't want pictures of mutants :)

I have had a feeling of dread these last few days...
a fear of something happening to my little black fish eating monkeys, my soft warm furry babies, even though demonic possession is not beyond them:
nor is the wanton opening then total decimation of contents of the linen press - not that it was ever exactly "tidy":
But today my tears fell for anothers loved one, the loss of Roy is devastating to so many, but my heart goes out to Laurie today, so much.
Farewell Roy, you are deeply loved.

I promised a friend the view of Sunrise from the first floor of the supermodel apartments....
Unfortunately, as the windows don't open (duh, supermodel engineering skills - useless), and it's so frosty here, I could only get a shot straight into the sun through dewy glass... oh well here it is in all it's glory:
and when I transferred the pics over from my camera (not my phone this time) I found a couple of stills from the Easter Classic Races at Mallala - Click for bigs as the cars are teenie from under the bleachers - enjoy!

My winter garden...
took a few pics today for Sunshine, not that there's much to see here in Ozland winter! It is lush and green however in my little corner of the world, a wonderful contrast to the drought which had us in it's grip so recently.
Pics taken with my phone so apologies for the quality :)
My winter back yard...
A chilly always flowering daisy and a scant pittosporum...
A lonely out-of-focus snapdragon....
Some early miniature daffodils and the everpresent purple alyssum...

But is it ok to dispose of INsanity ware there?
Several months ago I went for a haircut, yes it does happen approximately once per year, and I decided to visit the ladies room before spending an hour in that chair, where upon I found this sign:
And since they are referred to as wares rather than wear, I wonder where the ware can be purchased? I guess it is a shopping centre after all so I wouldn't have to venture too far....
Would have been a what the? but the what the? segment appears to be dead
Life is a minestrone, souped up with parmesan cheese
